There is a high in achievement and that’s okay too. It’s just that when we lose we need to quickly get over it and move on and not let it subsume us. There is a difference between being complacent and being happy. Complacency is an escape and happiness is a state of mind!
Really loved the article Anuj… and it’s definitely going to be shared amongst my friends and family for sure but more than that I am gonna make sure that “ just be happy with the journey – with not trying to be ‘better’ than anyone?” .. thank you for this share….
Enjoyed it Anuj. Reminds me of the Bob Marley line - they are so poor, that all they have is money. We need to rethink our adulation of wealth. It is good to be rich but it’s not the only metric that matters.
I will be sharing this with both my boys and will reflect on my life experiences as we read through, to try and put in perspective all that you have said. Well done buddy!
Loved your article and I’m totally in-sink with it . There is so much freedom, unadulterated joy and lightness in being ordinary with no competition and having only true people around you. This is a luxury denied to the rich and famous. Sometimes it makes me wonder who is richer in the true sense . I remember my father saying “they are not richer just wealthier than us”. So true! 🤗
Awesome Anuj
